MEPEI (The Middle East Political and Economic Institute) and EuroDefense Romania, in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Romania kindly invite you to attend the Round Table “New Kazakhstan: the Path of Renewal and Modernisation” as a part of the “Let’s Discover Kazakhstan” Project, to be held on Monday, the 21^st of November 2022, hours 15:00 – 17:00, at Fortuna Conference Hall (21^st Floor), Grand Hotel Bucharest (former InterContinental Hotel, Blvd Nicolae BĂLCESCU, nr. 4).

The post-independence Kazakh leadership underwent a multilayered program of modernization, state-building, and prosperity. There was a unique pathway to preserve religious and ethnic peace and promote mutual tolerance within the multi-ethnic and multi-confessional society of Kazakhstan.

The project “Let’s Discover Kazakhstan”, carried out by MEPEI and EuroDefense Romania with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Romania is an achievement in the bilateral ties, as it assumes a direct process of mutual understanding and awareness. In the international contemporary context, we aim to achieve even more results, as we consolidate a relationship with a strong basis.

We welcome representatives of Romanian society to the event, as follows: officials of Romanian public institutions, NGOs, academia (professors), think tanks (researchers and analysts), business persons, and mass media.

The working language is English (No Translation).
